The bonus is you can do more with the basing. we will have to get together and discuss what to do if we do end up putting something on.

@ Impcommander, 10mm will allow you the large units that so called 6mm give you but the painting time is to close to 15mm. I really like 15mm for the great detail but can not get away from the idea that I am pushing round very small units (ironic as I am OK with Ancients in 15mm) 6mm or 7/8 as you wish is my prefered scale as you can reproduce lrgeish actions with less table space and you can get the fee of the period. Also looking at a table you can get the full picture, unlike say a 28mm game that is somehow harder to take it

IanIanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17113835961977211021noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3329903841574816313.post-54882824761776735162012-10-13T23:26:12.898+01:002012-10-13T23:26:12.898+01:00what in your opinion would be the best scale to at...what in your opinion would be the best scale to attempt a napoleonics army in ? 10, 15, or "7-8" lol. ?Impcommanderhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18398693900714353055noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3329903841574816313.post-15409237978201233822012-10-13T22:15:51.658+01:002012-10-13T22:15:51.658+01:00After painting up a battalion of Adler figures my ...After painting up a battalion of Adler figures my self am thinking might have to delay doing a demo game, did enjoy painting them but hated the basing.

A few thousand ? was thinking of something a bit bigger than a skirmish gameAnonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03113574462507527691noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3329903841574816313.post-21075458821130263822012-10-13T16:17:49.323+01:002012-10-13T16:17:49.323+01:00@ Ray, yes they were supplied as liteinfantry skir...@ Ray, yes they were supplied as liteinfantry skirmish and I have painted them up as Carabiners (ooops), at least it's just the one base.

@ Roger, well with good light (natural being the best) they are a bit easier to pint than you think. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but the you've mixed up the paintjobs a little, your front line skirmishers are painted as Grenadiers, the skirmishers plumes should be green or yellow....not red?
