Just been searching the net for some information and found someone who is lifting all my posts and displaying them as their own!!!
The blog is called Indahsariblog what a con.
It's worth checking via a google search for your own blog. It's easy to do, just type in a sentence from one of your posts a week or so old and see what comes with it.
I have tried to report it but the report process is a joke, had to use the feedback page. Lets see what we get.
Yes it looks like they are using your posts as a prop to support their adverts on a blog. I'd imagine that blogger will take action... eventually.
ReplyDeleteA bit of a liberty to say the least!
Interesting. I can't see anything I write helping anyone with advertising, but it is interesting to see that it happens I guess.
ReplyDeleteThat's pretty darned low. It looks as though that guy has multiple blogs set up on various platforms - I guess on the basis that if one gets taken down, he can just transfer everything to the next one.
ReplyDeleteI did go to report it, but it would seem for copyright/piracy issues only the originator of the IP can make the report.
You would think he would choose something interesing to nick LOL
ReplyDeleteI wonder if he will lift this post ;-)
Ian
I'll check it out. I think a lot of these exist - something to do with SEO.
ReplyDeleteI followed this up - he seems to be copying 5 or 6 blogs word for word.
ReplyDeleteHow strange!

ReplyDeleteLooks like some hind of Bot. Lifting info from other blogs so he/she has a post history, so they can appear more like a real person, then get past spam filters. Here's hoping it gets resolved for you, as whatever the reason, it's an infringement in your IP.
ReplyDeleteThat is unreal! Will have to check mine now. Thanks for the warning.
ReplyDeleteIt is a copyright issue.... your words are copyrighted, with or without a copyright sign, or licence maguffin on your blog. Unfortunately as Tamsin says, only the aggrieved party can complain on here.
ReplyDeleteIt's what is known as a 'spam blog', which is something any of us can complain about, using the complaint mechanism. You just have to cut and paste the site address. So this is a small service you can do on Ian's behalf.
ReplyDeleteFrom what I can make out, it's an Indonesian guy who fancies himself as a internet 'entrepreneur'.
Well it sure got our attention, I'm thinking of commenting on my posts he has jacked with a back link to this blog, may get a few new followers whilst also pointing out he is stealing my work. I have to admit I am now laughing about it LOL
